Cannalyze is an information platform only. We do not sell, distribute, or facilitate the sale of cannabis or any controlled substance. We do not endorse, encourage, or promote any illegal activity.
The information on Cannalyze — including strain profiles, terpene data, and community reviews — is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, and should not be treated as a substitute for professional medical guidance. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about cannabis use.
You own the reviews, posts, and other content you create on Cannalyze. By submitting content, you grant Cannalyze a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the platform and for promotional purposes.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you submit. Do not post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, invasive of privacy, or in violation of any law.

The AI Budtender is powered by artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude). Its responses are generated based on strain data and community reviews and are provided for informational purposes only.
AI responses are not medical advice. The AI may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. Always verify AI recommendations with a healthcare professional, especially regarding medical cannabis use, drug interactions, or health conditions.
Cannalyze is not responsible for any decisions made based on AI-generated content.
Cannalyze is an invite-only platform. Access requires a valid invite code from an existing member. You may not share, sell, or distribute invite codes in bulk or for commercial purposes.
Members who reach Level 15 unlock a personal Plug Pass containing a unique QR code and invite code. The Plug Pass is for personal use. Automated or mass-distribution of invite codes is prohibited.
Cannalyze offers three membership tiers: Free, Pro, and Lifetime. Free members have access to the strain catalogue, community, leaderboard, and profile. Pro and Lifetime members have additional access to the learning paths, AI Budtender, and certifications.
Subscription payments, when available, are processed through third-party payment providers. Cannalyze does not store credit card or banking information directly. Refund policies will be communicated at the time of purchase.
You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting info@cannalyze.co.za. Upon deletion:
By creating an account, you agree to receive transactional emails from Cannalyze (e.g. email confirmation, password reset, subscription confirmations, moderation notices). These are sent via our email provider Resend from info@cannalyze.co.za.
You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by replying with "unsubscribe" or contacting info@cannalyze.co.za.
You agree not to test, scan, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to bypass Cannalyze's security, moderation, rate limiting, invite-gating, or access-control measures unless we have given you written permission to do so.
We may suspend access, invalidate invites, remove content, or preserve logs and records where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, enforce these terms, or protect Cannalyze, its members, and service providers.
The Cannalyze platform, including its name, logo, design, code, and brand materials, is owned by Cannalyze and protected by intellectual property laws.
Strain data, terpene profiles, and community reviews are contributed by the community and are subject to the content licence described above. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Cannalyze's proprietary materials without written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, Cannalyze and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
You agree to indemnify and hold Cannalyze, its operators, and service providers harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your unlawful use of the platform, your content, or your breach of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Cannalyze shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cape Town, Western Cape.
